Been a while…

Hey all! I know that it has been a while. I just wanted to update on what is going on.

So about 2 months ago, I moved from Florida to Vermont to live with my girlfriend of 2.5 years. So that has taken a lot of my time recently getting settled in and finding a job and such. But the good news is that I start my new job on Monday!

First of all, I know a lot of things are broken and outdated. In the next couple of weeks, I will try to get the website updated. For example: the MKS Gen L with 2208 stepper motor drivers is old news and I need to edit the post to reflect a better option. I also would like to update a couple more posts such as My Recommended Octoprint Plugins and Ender 3 page.

I am attempting to sell my Ender 3 and have purchased and assembled a Prusa i3 MK3s! I am getting the final touches on getting that tuned and will hopefully get a post about all of the setup including assembling the printer, what parts I have used, and assembling the Ikea LACK enclosure in the near future.

In the future, I will try to branch out a little bit beyond just doing 3d printing related posts. For example: I have an automated home media server running on Windows that I would like to do in to a Ubuntu Server with Docker setup. Yes, there are a ton of guides for doing it already, but what is one more? I am also learning Javascript to hopefully start making some programs that I have ideas for and maybe even a partnership in the future. I am also playing with the idea of selling 3D prints.

But anyways, it’s time to start updating some of these posts and figuring out a better layout for the website!
